Cho Dae-Hyun is an owner of a convenience store branch in his neighborhood. Despite, the number of highschool girls who comes to the store just to see him, his store is not performing well. He is also works long period and because of that he decided to hire a part timer. Jung Saet-Byul saw the post about the part time and she applies. The two have a history 3 years ago when Dae-Hyun tried to teach SAet-Byul and her friends a lesson because they ask him to buy a cigarette for them. During that time Saet-Byul find him attractive and she kisses him. Now, Saet-Byul works in Dae-Hyun's store trying to make the store profitable and trying to seduce Dae-Hyun at the same time.
Main Characters and Their Previous Works I'd watched.
Ji Chang-wook starred on this drama and played the role of Choi Dae-Hyun. I watched him before in Suspicious Partner and he is really good on that drama. And that was the only drama that I watch him but I heard of some of his drama such as "Healer", "The K2" and "The Sound of Magic". I was able to start "the Sound of Magic" but I dropped it after one episode because I believe I will appreciate this drama more in the future. Just like how I continued watching "Backstreet Rookie". I actually dropped it because I thought it was that simple and that's all but after continuing watching it I can say that it was simply good and beautiful.
Also starring in this series is Kim You-Jung who played the role of Jung Saet-Byul. My favorite drama of hers was actually the series after "Backstreet Rookie" which is the "Lovers of the Red Sky". Comparing the two, I will still go for "Lovers of the Red Sky" but she is fun and lovely in e "Backstreet Rookie" as well, it is just that Lovers of the Red Sky was really awesome.

Lee Myung-Woo directed this series while Son Geun-Joo was the screenwriter alongside with the original webtoon writers Hwalhwasan and Geumsagong. I haven't seen the drama series of Myung-Woo and Geun-Joo only the Backstreet Rookie was the drama that I watch where they are involve in.
Story
This drama series was simple yet with heart. At first I thought it was boring or during the first try I find it boring and end up watching until episode 9. And because I want to have closure with some dramas that I was able to finish atleast half of the drama, I am now trying to finish it those and it includes this drama. After watching the next episodes, I found myself crying at some parts and it was actually good. It was simple but beautifully made.
And I saw some reviews that Episode 10 was a masterpiece and I agree that episode 10 keeps me watching. Since I stopped in Episode 9, I just loose hope if only I started episode 10 that time maybe I already finish this drama. Again, the story was good, it was simple and fun.

Favorite Character on this Series
Upon carefully consideration, the best character for me would be Kong Boon-Hee, the mother of Choi Dae-Hyun. As a mother, she really wants the best for his son and it shows with her emotions the sincerity. She really made the story more serious and worth watching. Specially when she keeps her emotion between work and personal.
Favorite Actor/Actress on this Series
For my favorite actor, I would go with Ji Chang-Wook who played Choi Dae-Hyun. He really showed a different side of himself. He always plays someone who is strong but this time he can show his innocent and fun side. Not all strong man is attractive but his role and performance on this series makes him more attractive.
Favorite Couple/Tandem on this Series
For the couple, I would definitely give it to Choi Dae-Hyun and Jung Saet-Byul. They might have short sweet time but that time was enough for me to appreciate their chemistry. The supporting couples was good as well but my favorite were them. I admire the story because they didn’t focus more on the sweet and display of affection much but I still feel the strong chemistry and connection of them.

Overall, because of this drama I will surely finish some of those dramas that I dropped because just like this drama I might enjoy it on the next half. For this drama, I can’t say much more because I already stated above. It was written in a simple set-up and simple location but they were able to make it a worth watching drama.
