Main Characters and Their Previous Works I'd watched.
I actually watch it a long time ago and I am just reposting this drama review on this blog from my old blogspot. Before I have a minimal knowledge about the main leads of this drama, or I have never known much about the other series they starred with. For Han Suk-Kyu, I would say that this drama series is the best drama series I watched where he is in. In this series, I appreciated him more.
For Yoo Yeon-Seok, I have watched his previous drama and I think he is okay with all of his drama. Nothing in particular stands out but he is good. For Seo Hyun-Jin, she stands out more in "Another Miss Oh" and the series "Why Her".
Director and Writer and their Previous works.
Dr. Romantic was directed by Yu In-Sik who also directed "You're All Surrounded" and Park Soo-Jin who also directed "Why Her?" and the series I dropped "While You Were Sleeping". I might drop "While You Were Sleeping" because of my busyness but I will now try to finish all the series that I dropped that must be finished like the mentioned drama. So far, these directors really are good in directing series based on their previous and current works.
For the writer, this series was written by Kang Eun-Kyung which turns out that this series is her only drama series that I watched.
Story
I am not a fan of Medical Dramas, but because of this series I started to appreciate it more. The story set-up was simple, it was in a hospital but because it was a hospital it can be as complicated as it can be due to the different scenarios, diseases and traumas they experienced. Mixed with the diseases are the stories of the victim and their family. It was for me a heavy drama where you will be able to learn a lot. It made me appreciate life more and be thankful that somehow, I am, and my family is okay. I am not a fan of Hospital in real life (because I don't want to be sick) but I commend what they are doing specially the doctors, nurses and staff.
Acting
The main leads up to the supporting characters to the one-episode actor did great making the story more appealing and dramatic. They all give justice to their role whether how small or big they were or whether how long or short their scene was. Each and every one of them needs to act well to make the scene realistic. They did make each scene realistic, and I commend them for that.
Favorite Character on this Series
My favorite character on this drama is the man who made sure that doctors do their best for the patients which is no other than Kim Sabu which is played by Han Suk-Yu. He might be strict, but he is fun at the same time and ensure that the people around him learn about the importance of life values.
Favorite Actor/Actress on this Series
At the same time, Han Suk-Kyu will be my favorite actor in this series. Everyone did great but I will give it to him because he is somehow the pillar of the story, and he did well in portraying the character well.
Favorite Couple/Tandem on this Series
The favorite couple or tandem on this series would be the Dol Dam Hospital squad. It is important for a hospital to be in sync and understand each other to serve the people and help them survive on whatever they are facing. I think their bond make the story more compelling and fun to watch.

Overall, this drama exceeds my expectations. Just one day, I just tried watching it and was able to finish it within less than a week. I just heard this drama series with my mother, and she highly recommend this drama to the point she was waiting for the season 2 that time. I never thought that it could be this good. It was a well written drama with a very great cast ensemble.
