Later on, Soo-Jae’s point-of-view was presented. On her way home after she met So-young to tackle the case, she saw a piece of So-Young’s shoes on the elevator and checked if So-Young was at the rooftop. She then proceeded to the rooftop and talked to So-Young. Soo-Jae asked why So-Young was there. So-Young told Soo-0Jae that she will kill herself there but Soo-Jae didn’t believe but rather believed that So-Young was there to meet someone.
The case begins to gets interesting since it shows the possibility that it is more than just suicide. Moreover, the troubled family of Soo-Jae was shown. It really pissed me off just listening to her mother and family. I know it is her family but how she was treated by them wasn't good as if Soo-Jae should always give what they wanted. Even it wasn't shown, I believed that Soo-Jae helped them before and she just gets tired that they just always shows their selves when they needed her. Family is family, I know but sometimes you should know that she has her own problems too. As a family, we must help her and not just be a problem to her as well. It is just my opinion. I would be glad to hear yours as well down on the comment section.
During her class, she gave the case of Park So-Young as an example. The topic was about abiding and abetting on Suicide. Based on the facts that was given on the case and the possible scenario after the video was released she asked her student if she abide or abet the suicide of Park So-Young. Some students said that she possibly abided and possibly abetted the case. But Gong Chan finishes with his words that we, together with the viewers, didn’t really know if So-Young had the intention to kill herself or the reason she was at the rooftop was really to kill herself. Soo-Jae didn’t respond to it, she just left the class as a sign that the class was dismissed.
It was raining when Soo-Jae left the building and she couldn't go to her car. She was about to run in the rain when Gong Chan gave his umbrella to her. The soundtrack or should I the background music on the rain scene was cool. The moment Gong Chan puts the umbrella above Soo-Jae, together with the music, really makes me smile. It really reminds me that no matter what we are going through, we must not forget to enjoy life. Life wasn’t really easy. Each and everyone of us has our own battle we are facing. And honestly, I am the type of person who always over-thinks what the future may bring unto me and it makes me forget to enjoy the present moment. I just want to say that people who tend to enjoy the present were really blessed and made the most out of their life.
Drug scandal of Choi Joo-Wan, TK Chairman’s son and TK Managing Partner, was given to Oh Soo-Jae. She decided not to take the case since she doesn’t feel like doing it. According to her, since the Park So-young case she doesn't want to take cases that feel wrong since it may bounce back again to her. But she later on agreed not because the chairman told her so, not for Choi-Joo-Wan as well but rather for the sake of TK Law Firm’s image. The case was later on focused on the Idol Group and not on Choi Joo-Wan. It really shows the different life of rich and poor people in front of the Law. The rich when involved with crime they still become richer but when the poor face the law, they will be branded as bad people and get their life even harder. I know that how you deal with yourself will still be the deciding factor on your success but there will still be differences on how you can easily remove yourself from the crime and case.
At the same time, she asked her students who works in the Legal Services to find what really happened that night and still consider her in abetting and aiding the suicide. The five students started their investigations. They were called in to the TK Law Firm to share the details of their investigations. Then afterwards, Park Ji-Young was arrested for murdering her sister So-young. This was maybe because of the conversation they had at the rooftop. Gong Chan assumed that Soo-Jae handed their investigation to the Police and hurriedly went to ask Soo-Jae about it. Soo-Jae didn’t directly answer the question of Gong Chan.
The episode ended with a kiss. The love story was getting wilder as the cases got more complicated. But I don’t think that Soo-Jae was the one who tipped the police about the findings on Park Ji-Young but rather the one who was on the rooftop listening to their conversation pretending to be talking to the phone. It's just my opinion and what I think. How about you? The story really keeps me wanting more, it was indeed good, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
