Why Her? - Episode 4 Recap and Review: "Things really get interesting indeed"

Things really get interesting indeed. As the fourth episode starts it reveals that Park So-Young was 4 months pregnant. Who would have thought that the suicide was not just really a suicide and there were really more into it and that’s make it really interesting. The students of Oh Soo-Jae still believe that Park Ji-Young’s arrest was because Soo-Jae gave their findings to the police. Soo-Jae did not deny the fact when they had a meeting regarding the case of Park Ji young. The head of the school, Director Baek Jin-Ki, requested to Oh Soo-Jae that the first case of the Free Legal Services of the school will be the case of Park Ji-Young.

Oh Soo-Jae told her students to find out more about the case without giving hints to them. The students asked her why she let Park Ji-Young be arrested, but Soo-Jae just told them to find out why. After the meeting the students started their investigation once again. Actually, the group was composed of good students and talented one in their own way making the investigation smoother leading to finding out more about the case.

The romance side of the story between Gong Chan and Oh Soo-Jae became cuter on the other hand, especially in the restobar when Oh soo-Jae and Gong Chan visited to have a drink. Soo-Jae was drinking when she heard a familiar voice from the other table talking to the owner of the place. He was sharing about him having a crush on a girl, which is Soo-Jae. While he was talking to the place owner Soo-Jae became shy as she listened to the rant of Gong Chan. Gong Chan said that his heart aches when she sees Soo-Jae hurt someone just to achieve her goal. He said it because they think that Soo-Jae just let Ji-Young be arrested. He even shared to the owner that Soo-Jae has a rich boyfriend. He heard it from a professor who really hates Soo-Jae though it was cleared to him at the end of the episode and that it was just a misunderstanding.

There are love stories like this that don't make me cringe at all but rather make me smile. I admit that I really hate love stories in this kind of drama but it was okay and added more flavour to the story. I like how they just not focusing too much on the love story, it is a good point for me since when they showed it, it has more impact.

Through the help of the students they were able to prove that Park Ji-Young was innocent and a video where Park So-Young was pushed by a man was found. The video was from a food vlogger who accidentally captured the scene wherein a man pushes Park So-Young to her death. Soo-Jae believes that the man has something to do with the baby of So-Young.

To make Park So-young's case to be opened again, Soo-Jae asked Ji-Young to make a fake diary wherein she indicates that she wants her sister dead. She even told Ji-Young beforehand that she will be arrested as a suspect in her sister’s case. Ji-Young hesitated to do it but Soo-Jae told her that she will help them on her mother’s medical bill that’s why she agreed to it. And the case was now became murder than suicide because of the evidence Soo-Jae presented to the prosecutor.

Soo-Jae went to visit her office in the building she bought that was previously owned by her father but someone broke in here and was looking for something. The episode ended in Soo-Jae getting hurt trying to fight the culprit but before she entered the room she dialled Gong Chan so that Gong Chan would know what was happening. Gong Chan rushed and there the episode ended.

This series did not fail to excite me one more time from beginning up to the end of this episode. It kept me sitting until the end. There shouldn't be any scene in this series that you shouldn’t miss because you might get lost in the story. And if you still haven’t watched it, please watch it already and comment your thoughts below. It was highly recommended.
