Link - Episode 2 Recap and Review: “The dead body was gone?”

In the last episode, the dead body of Na Da-Hyun and her mother and grandmother was inside the refrigerator that Gye-Hyoon’s friend supposedly threw but when Gye-Hyoon saw the refrigerator outside he then got it and returned it inside his restaurant. For the second episode, Na Da-Hyun and her family think of a way on how they will get the fridge inside the restaurant more or less a week I guess but luckily they didn’t hear anything from Eun-Hyoon making them think that he didn’t open the fridge yet.

Moreover, the day of the incident when Na Da-Hyun went to the police station gave a curiosity with a policewoman and went to their dining place to ask about her reason why she went to the police station. Gye-Hyoon becomes curious as to why the police were asking her about what happened last night because he felt a link of emotion the same night. He saw bruises on Da-Hyun’s wrist and became worried so he told that Da-Hyun has business with him and went outside Da-Hyun's diner and headed to his restaurant. There he asked what happened but Da-Hyun didn’t say anything about it. Gye-Hoon told Da-Hyun that he cares for her and to what happen to her that’s why he brought Da-Hyun to the hospital to have her checked.

Da-Hyun’s mother decided to turn herself in for her daughters sake but when she reached the police station she saw her mother, Da-Hyun’s grandmother, there confessing as well to killing the man. Though they end up going home since they decided not to tell the whole story. Da-Hyun’s mother just told the police that the man her mother was talking about was her father and she just misses him.

Because of this, Da-Hyun tries her best to find a way to get the passcode on Gye-Hoon’s restaurant to check the body. Da-Hyun asks about Gye-Hoon’s birthday, in case it was the passcode but Gye-Hoon doesn't want to tell her because he finds her suspicious. Da-Hyun insisted then Gye-Hoon offered a deal that she should play Rock-Paper-Scissors game. This game was the one Gye-Hoon and sister played on national television to prove that they are linked together as if they have telepathy. They always show the same sign in the game and no one loses, this is also a way for Gye-Hoon to understand if Da-Hyun was really the one he was linked to. They played and they ended up not losing both, they showed the same sign as well.

Later that night, Da-Hyun tries to open the restaurant by inputting Gye-Hoon’s birthday and luckily it opens. She headed straight to the kitchen where the refrigerator was and opened it. She was shocked that the body wasn’t there anymore, and moreover Gye-Hoon was expecting her there and asked her if she found what she was looking for. The episode ended on that scene and it made you wonder more. In the preview for the next episode, three hypotheses were made as to why the body wasn’t there anymore. One, is because Gye-Hoon already moved the body. Second, there was someone who went inside and took out the body. Or third, the body wasn’t really dead and went outside on its own.

As the second episode ended, it gave us more mystery to solve and more questions were left on our mind. There were a lot of questions that hopefully can be resolved in the upcoming episode. Some of them are as follows;

  • Why was Gye-Hoon linked to Da-Hyun?

  • Is Da-Hyun her sister?

  • What happened to Gye-Hoon’s sister before?

  • If Gye-Hoon’s sister was alive, why did the link suddenly go back after 18 years?

  • Is Lee Jin-Geun really dead?

  • If he was dead, why did he die? Who really killed him?

  • Why do Da-Hyun’s mother and grandmother look expert in disposing of the body?

  • Where did the body go?

  • Does Gye-Hoon know that there was a body in the fridge?

Let’s hope that in the next episodes every question will be answered or maybe more questions will be added. Who knows? But It was good, it keeps me wanting to watch the next episodes. It was fun as well, and the characters really fit the actors and actresses.
