Unlock My Boss (2023) - Series Review: "I enjoyed it."

Unlock My Boss is an ENA drama series about Kim Sun-Joo, who was attacked unexpectedly and was thought that his soul was transferred in a cellphone discovered by Park In-Sung. This series consists of 12 episodes, the first of which aired on December 7, 2022, and the last of which aired on January 12, 2023.

Kim Sun-Joo, played by Park Sung-Woong, was an IT developer and CEO. One day, he was pursued by unknown people who were attempting to kill him, and he fell down a cliff, rendering him unconsciouHis phone posted online, indicating that he was turned in for smartphone, but no one believes him.

During Park In-Sung's (Chae Jong-Hyeop) vacation in his province, he discovered the phone in which Kim Sun-Joo was believed to be trapped.  to He didn't believe him at first, but the smartphone proved him wrong by appointing him as the temporary CEO of Silverlinings, Kim Sun-IT Joo's company, and Kim Sun-Joo even sent him money on his bank account. He was an ordinary person who once tried to apply in Kim Sun-Joo's company but failed to get the job due to lack of experience.

For a fee, he was asked to act as CEO on behalf while investigating what happened that night when  Sun-Joo was pursued. During the investigation, he worked with Kim Sun-secretary, Joo's Jung Se-Yeon, played by Seo Eun-Su.

It was an enjoyable drama. The first episode piqued my interest. But the story after that was pretty standard for me, but then again I really enjoyed this one. The plot and twist were excellent, especially when I realized that it was not the soul that was trapped, but rather the AI working on the project Baro 4.0.

I like Chae Jong-Hyeop in this series. He did an excellent job. The antagonist was average and not particularly irritating. There are some series that irritate me because they are so bad. However, in this series, they seem to be holding back.

I liked it because it had a funny vibe to it, and it always amazes me when Park In-Sung proves that he can be a CEO. He can be a CEO with a heart that truly cares about people, and his experience has greatly aided him in his job. The good things he did also helped him in his darkest moments, when people tried to bring him down, and those he helped helped him to rise again.

I agree that the plot was simple to follow. That is, you will not be confused about what is going on because you only need to remember the core of the story and you will fully understand it until the end. It was enjoyable, entertaining, and educational. I hope that one day a self-driving car will be released and available for purchase.
