The First Responders is an SBS drama series that aired every Friday and Saturday until its 12th episode in 2022. Kim Rae-Won portrays Jin Ho-Gae, Son Ho Jun portrays Bong Do-Jin, and Gong Seung-Yeon portrays Song Seol.

It tells the story of the fire station and police station working together to solve crimes. Jin Ho-Gae is a police officer, or should I say detective, who did an excellent job. When he was into something, he was completely focused on solving it. He was able to thoroughly research the cases and will have some ideas on how to solve them.
Bong Do-Jin is an excellent firefighter who was revealed at the end to have a reason for his obsession with firefighting. He may appear cold or unfriendly to others, but he was genuinely concerned about those around him, including the victims.
Song Seol is a paramedic who works alongside the Firefighter. She is the one who tends to the victims of fires and other special or emergency cases. She has and always has a kind heart for others.
This series will make you appreciate those who work with the police to solve cases, especially those that require immediate resolution. We also forget that during an emergency, firefighters and even paramedics will be on the scene at all times, ready to help if needed. I believe they are the first response team because they were the one to check the situation. They will be constantly on guard.
It would make us appreciate the significance of each of their jobs. We may not see them all the time because there aren't always fires and emergency situations, but they are always ready, which is why we must appreciate them. And we won't wish for them to be present all the time because that means fire and emergency are always present, which I know we don't want to happen.
What I like about Korean dramas is that they are not afraid to showcase in their series the different jobs that exists. They are not focusing on a single job, but each series has a core job, and in this series was the first responder.

Because it ended in a good part, this series was truly a cliffhanger. However, even before it began, it was announced that it would have a second season, demonstrating how good the story will be. The first episode will go down as one of the best cases they've ever worked on, followed by the arson case at the end, which was yet to be resolved and revealed.
Overall, it was a good drama. The first episode had such an impact on me that I was able to finish this one. I'm looking forward to the second season, and I'm hoping that better cases will come their way, allowing their excellent problem-solving abilities to be put to better use.
