Cheer Up has finally come to an end after several weeks. The series' final episode aired last Tuesday after numerous delays and postponements for some of its episodes. The series concluded in the 16th episode. Starring are Baek In-Hyuk and Han Ji-Hyun.
Han Ji-Hyun plays Do Hae-Hyi. She is a bright and hardworking person. Because she came from a poor family, she prioritized making money over school by working multiple part-time jobs. In exchange for money, she agreed to join Theia's cheerleading squad. Though she initially joined the squad for the money, she later dropped out the agreement because she began to enjoy it because of her love of dancing. Park Jung-Woo, played by Baek In-Hyuk, is the cheering squad's captain.
The series tells the story of the cheerleading squad members. Their desire to survive, their friendship, hardship as a group, and even love within the circle. The plot was simply about school life and the passion and dreams of people in the cheerleading squad, but turns out there's more to it, which makes it more interesting to watch.
It was a balanced story that included love, friendship, school, dreams, passion, family, mystery, and thriller elements. It was a packed drama for me. I felt the love, the thrill, the pain, the sadness, and all the other emotions that I might feel in a drama, which is why I loved it. In addition, I admire Han Ji-Hyun from Penthouse and Baek In-Hyuk from My Roommate is a Gumiho.
Though, as I previously stated, there were times when an episode's airing was delayed, I still waited because it was a good drama, and it was worth the wait. I never got tired waiting. The final episode was the simplest of them all; they did not complicate it, but rather ensured that the story ended nicely and happily. They show how the members of the group's lives changed over time. Some are already attempting to enter the real world, others are working, and still others are members of the Cheering Squad.
I've read that there are some viewers who felt that they had "Second Lead Syndrome". It was a phenomenon in which viewers preferred the second lead to be with the main lead. I did feel on some occasions, but the majority of the time I am still and for the loveteam of In-Hyuk and Ji-Hyun. The second lead is appealing, but In-Hyuk retains his allure. Baek In-Hyuk began as a second lead, and it was a good thing to see him in the main lead because he had the charm to make the audience smile when he smiled. He even had a special role in Under the Queen's Umbrella.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, from the cast to the plot. Would I suggest it? Yes, because it's all in one. I'm at a loss for words; all I can say is that I enjoyed it. What can you say about this series? I've heard people say they didn't like the drama, but I think we all have different tastes in drama. There are dramas that are beneficial to you but not to me, and vice versa. And while I have nothing against those who did not enjoy this one, I would like to hear your thoughts as well. Do we share the same thoughts on this drama? Feel free to leave it in the comment section.
